Universal Suction Gripper

I have been working on building a gripper that works off the principle of particle jamming.

The mechanism is made from a balloon filled with coffee grounds, a funnel, duct tape, and a PVC pipe for air transfer.

Currently it is manually controlled but the next step is to try to control the air control electronically.
